Ok....I'll try to be positive and not talk about the game.

So this year my New Years Resolution is to lose about 10~15 lbs to get back to my ideal 185 lbs.  Yes, math majors, that means I weigh about 200 lbs.  That's about how much Michael Hart weighs.......Arrghhhh......*must*.....*not*....*talk about game****!!!!!  Arrrrghhhhh!!!!  Ok Ok I can't take it anymore.

WHAT THE FRICK ARE WE DOING OUT THERE???????

Number 3 team in the country trying to convince the nation we should have been in the national championship game????  Do we even know how to pass block???  I mean we looked absolutely atrocious out there!  We played scared and looked like a dazed team from a punch to the gut from the OSU-Michigan game.  Was it because of the month long layoff or the pro-USC crowd???  I don't think so, the game's outcome can be summed up by 2 factors.

1.)  Chad Henne is the second coming of John Navarre.  Shocking but true.  Look at the similiarities.

Navarre has rocket arm, Henne has rocket arm.

Navarre showed good solid stats each year, Henne shows solid stats each year.

Navarre turns the ball over in critical games, Henne turns the ball over in critical games.

Navarre sucks donkey balls, Henne sucks donkey balls...see everyone?..the similiarities are shocking!

2.)  Second factor can be summed up by a joke I heard today from Ed Gong,

"What car does Jim Tressel own?  Lloyd Carr".......Yeaaaaaa!!!!  This is getting embarrassing!

Lloyd Carr is the reason why Michigan football has failed to live up to expectations year after year.  We have talent every year but we fail to capitalize on it!!!!

We didn't look like we knew what we were doing.  I mean why punt with 6 minutes left to go, down 3 TD's and then go for an onside kick with 1:09 left?  Does that make ANY sense to anyone???  Go for it every fourth down when it is the fourth quarter and you are down big, you old fart!!!!

Carr needs to check his last physical to remember if he still has nuts because his offense is SOOOOOO vanilla it makes me want to puke when I see them play.  Every series goes down like this:

1st down:  Run left (2 yds)

2nd down: Run right (2 yds)

3rd down:  Screen Pass for 2 yds

4th down: Punt

Get creative!!!!  Throw in some trick plays!  Do something.  Adjust to the fact that Dwayne Jarrett was burning Morgan Trent every time!!!!  Here's an idea!  Why not put Leon Hall on him???  Take out the pathetic safety who kept letting Jarrett get behind him!  Good gracious, I'm typing this and clenching my teeth at the same time......arghhhhh!!!!!!

After the game, USC DE/LB Brian Cushing's quote sums up the Wolver(ettes) ineptness, "We just knew what they were going to do"

Change the offense, change the coach, and help stop us Michigan fans from changing the channel at the end of bowl games.  Its not, "Go Blah!" it is "Go Blue".

How am I FORTY PERCENT Supergirl?  Ok nobody has to answer that question.  I like Spidey!  I'm actually most disturbed by the results saying I'm 40% Robin.  Whhaaaat?  Robin is such a tool!  "Holey Jimminy Crickets Batman!", would I say something like that?  And Wonder Woman?  Remember that 80's action TV show with Wonder Woman?  I don't wanna be this.  Or do I????

Adventures of Homeownership

Where do I begin.

This is way delayed but Ahhhh.....the OSU Michigan game.  This is what I want to yell at Carr.  "Yes, Lloyd Carr....that is your running back Michael Hart running all over the OSU defense.  Yes, it might have been somewhat of a good idea giving the ball TO THE BEST PLAYER ON YOUR TEAM a few more times in the second half!!!!!!!"

This was the first year I didn't watch the game with Ed and it was sad that after the game was over, I just knew the next phone call would be from him.  I agree with Ed that that had to be the greatest game ever played in my lifetime.  I thought Michigan did a nice job containing Smith's scrambling ability but did a horrible job defending the quick traps up the middle.   Arrrrrghhhhh!!!!!!  I loathe that sweater vest wearing cocky bastard Tressel!

Thanksgiving was great.  We got to spend a lot of time with both families and ate a lot of good food.  Viv and I woke up early the day after thanksgiving but I 'petered' out after the first store and went home because I was sooooo exhausted.  Plus all the deals this year seemed lame.

The condo is shaping up very very slowly.  After a month or so in this new place we are still without our vanity mirrors, closet organizer in our walk-in closet, and couch.  I omitted the fact that I really want an LCD tv because there are other 'priorities' right now.  We still need to paint, get blinds/curtains, and just make the place feel homey.

Like my wife said in her blog, opening our wedding gifts over a year after we got married felt really good.  It was almost like we either one the lottery or just got married again.  It was fun having this great anticipation of not knowing what was in the boxes, and deciding where to put things in our new kitchen.  It was fun.

Shopping for furniture is the new mission for me right now.  I am soooo unbelievably surprised at how much furniture really costs.  It is sooooo expensive!  I mean, all our stuff before we moved in was second hand furniture.  It wasn't bad but it wasn't good either.

I'm currently almost finished reading this book that I've had for some time but kept procrastinating on reading it.  The book is "Kite Runner" and it is a real page turner.  I even felt my eyes get welled up at certain parts.  You have to read it.

Ok gtg.  If any of you are in Chicago and need a place to crash, let me know.  We finally have the room to accommodate guests!  Yippee!

Are U Friggin Kidding Me!!!

Ok......here is my rant and rave section so bear with me

1.)  Got broke into late last week. The lowlife scum whom robbed us took some of Viv's jewelry and two of our laptops......BASTARD!!!!!!  After finding out we were robbed, I immediately phoned Viv to make sure she had her ring on.  She had it with her.....hallelujah!  The worse part?  Knowing that a.) Someone in the building buzzed the guy in (there was no sign of forced entry through the first set of doors) b.) Some creep was going through your belongings and the sense of violation that brings and c.)  Regretting the fact that you didn't take out any renters insurance (dohhhh!!!.....although in my defense if we had CLOSED ON TIME this wouldn't have happened!)

2.)  Seriously rolled my left ankle playing basketball last Friday.  I've rolled my ankle several times before but this time it was WAY more painful.  I went up for a rebound and landed on this guy's foot.  Immediately heard a "pop" and crumpled on the floor pounding my hand on the floor while saying some "choice" words.  I decided to wait a couple of days (days where I hobbled on my blue and purple ankle like I was wearing a lead shoe) and then go into the ER b/c I hate waiting.  Nevertheless, swelling is down, X-rays showed no break, and all this revealled how much of a baby I really am.

3.)  We are currently sitting in our living room, surrounded by unopened boxes, and eating ramen out of tupperware.

"Where are you?" you say.  Guess!.....I'll give you a hint.  It isn't our new condo.

You ask, "But weren't you supposed to close on your condo on Sept 28th, wait October 3rd, ummmmm October 6th?, was it October 10th?,  wait I got it October 12th."

The answer is ALL of the above!

I'll er explain later.....gtg to bible study!
